Crupie was founded by professional skateboarders Carlos Ribeiro and Tiago Lemos, both associated with Primitive Skateboards, under the full name Crupie Multicultural Skateboard Wheels. It is regarded as one of the newer brands in skateboarding with a focus on wheels and related accessories.
The brand is known for its high‑hardness, high‑quality urethane wheels, typically 101A, designed for street and park skateboarding. Its proprietary urethane formula offers durability, excellent rebound, and resistance to flat‑spots, making them suitable for technical riding.
