Skate Mental

Skate Mental was founded in 2007 by pro skateboarder Brad Staba and grew out of a T‑shirt side project that evolved into a full skateboard brand with help from longtime friend Brian Anderson. From its inception it embraced a relaxed, offbeat aesthetic and a DIY, no‑frills approach to skate culture, grounded in fun rather than seriousness.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area and distributed through Big Time Distribution, Skate Mental produces decks, apparel and accessories marked by bold, satirical graphics and solid construction. The brand’s designs reflect its ethos of humour, authenticity and a laid‑back, slightly cheeky attitude.
