Umaverse

Umaverse began in 2020, originally under the name Uma Landsleds. It was born from the spontaneous creative energy of pro skater Evan Smith in collaboration with Mesa Distribution, with a visual identity guided by artists like Thomas Campbell and Nathaniel Russell. The brand’s early momentum was captured in their video Punch a Hole in the Sky, directed by Jon Miner, which fused high‑level skating with surreal, hand‑drawn art and a cosmic spirit. Umaverse quickly built a team that reflected its inclusive, art‑forward ethos, including riders such as Cody Chapman, Maité Steenhoudt, Roman Pabich, Treveon Wade, Leonardo Favaro, Leon Chapdelaine, Brad Saunders and Javon Goodman.
